In a genre saturated with countless bands all trying to achieve the same style or sound, TO KILL ACHILLES tries to cut through with their own brand of melodic metalcore, taking influence from other genres such as pop, rock, emo and ambient to create a sound unlike any other in the industry. Blurring the lines between musical genres and focusing on message as opposed to defined style, TKA have gained fans all around the world.

Formed in 2010 from Dundee, Scotland. To Kill Achilles set out to achieve two goals. To see as much of the world as they can and to bring music to as many people as possible. The bands message is simple, life’s not easy, it’s ok to admit you’re struggling. Taking lyrical inspiration from personal life experiences has allowed fans to engage with the music and has linked every listener together. “We’re all in this together” this simple phrase has become a driving force for the band, pushing them to work harder, to explore more complex emotions and mind sets in order to positively effect even just one listener.

Due to the bands tireless efforts and DIY ethics, To Kill Achilles have had the honour of playing shows across the whole of the United Kingdom, all of mainland Europe, Russia and have plans to reach Asia in the coming year. TKA have an addiction to traveling and meeting as many fans as possible, this addiction drives the band to do anything in their power to tour as often and as wide as they can.

To Kill Achilles have also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some incredible bands over the years including; I Killed The Prom Queen, The Browning, While She Sleeps, Heart Of A Coward, We Came As Romans, Betraying The Martyrs, Sirens And Sailors, I Declare War, Napoleon, Heart In Hand along with many others.

THE WEIGHT OF ATLAS are a 5 piece band, based in between Dundee and Edinburgh, Scotland.

From epic emotional chorus hooks to crushing breakdowns; harsh screams to layered harmonies; The Weight Of Atlas have plenty to offer an audience and promise an exciting show!
