Since 2009, Berlin-based label PELAGIC RECORDS has established itself as an increasingly vital outlet for modern metal, post rock and beyond. Bands like MONO (Japan), pg.lost, Cult of Luna, sleepmakeswaves, God Is An Astronaut or Pelagic Records founder Robin Staps' own band The Ocean Collective have released albums on PELAGIC, but there is a lot more to discover within the label's catalogue of 120 releases: for example Swiss post-metal veterans Abraham who have just released their epic conceptual 4xLP album "Look Here Comes The Dark!", or Florida's instrumental rock band set and setting and L.A.s Future Usses (featuring Sacha Dunable of INTRONAUT), whose debut albums on Pelagic are to be released this fall.
